HIATT COLLINS

I have always loved building things. From Legos as a child up to building musical instruments and audio electronics as an adult, I have had an abiding interest in learning how things work. I pursued law as a career, and after a number of years of practicing as an attorney, I began attending technology networking events in Nashville with an eye towards developing a technology law practice. Very quickly I discovered that, rather than wanting to represent the technology community in Nashville, I wanted to be a part of it as a software developer! Learning to code has been an exhilarating exercise in studying a craft that will allow me to match a new career with my lifelong interests. I'm excited to combine the knowledge I have gained at Nashville Software School with the skills I acquired solving business problems through the law, and to apply both to solve business problems with technology.
